Circular Economy

INCERT participated in the creation of an international standard called “The Product Circularity Data Sheet” (PCDS), a pioneering initiative by the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy to create a homogeneous framework of circular data on products.

INCERT was assisting Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy in the drafting of an ISO standard on the efficient exchange of product information to all stakeholders involved – from primary materials to the finished product. The so called PCDS is now a standard template that can be used throughout the supply chain of any product. The PCDS was created in the light of an introduction of The EU Digital Product Passport (DPP), a tool proposed by the European Commission (EC), to create transparency and unlock circularity.

INCERT is currently also one of the partners to the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy working on the implementation of the PCDS software.
